Managed endpoint services for laptops, phones and servers

Every device your team works on, enrolled and kept in a known state: Windows laptops, Macs, phones and tablets, and the servers behind them. Patched, protected, monitored and supported, remotely from Bengaluru for teams in India and worldwide.

OVERVIEW

Why endpoints are where most incidents start

The laptop in someone's bag is the part of your business most exposed to the outside world and the part most often left alone. Devices bought at different times, set up by different people, patched when someone remembers, with no reliable list of who has what.

A managed endpoint service replaces that with one known state. Devices are enrolled so they can be seen and acted on, updates arrive on a schedule, protection is installed and actually reporting, and the list of who has which device is current rather than a spreadsheet from last year.

It also makes the ordinary moments calm: a new joiner gets a device ready to work on, a leaver's access ends the same day, and a lost laptop can be locked or wiped rather than worried about.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

What the service covers

Scope is agreed per engagement. A typical managed endpoint service covers these four areas across Windows, macOS, mobile devices and servers.

  • Devices and enrolment

    • Windows laptops and desktops, Macs, iOS and Android, and Windows or Linux servers
    • Enrolment into management, with a standard build for new devices
    • Inventory of what exists, who holds it and what is installed
    • Device handover, return and replacement handled as part of the service
  • Updates and health

    • Operating system and application patching on an agreed schedule
    • Device health, disk, performance and failure alerts watched
    • Configuration drift reported and corrected
    • Change windows agreed so updates do not interrupt the working day
  • Protection

    • Endpoint protection deployed and kept reporting, using Sophos or Microsoft Defender
    • Disk encryption and screen lock enforced through policy
    • Web and DNS filtering with SafeDNS where you want it
    • Alerts triaged, with incidents escalated through our service desk
  • Joiners, movers and leavers

    • New device prepared and delivered ready to work on
    • Access changed when someone moves role
    • Accounts and device access removed the day someone leaves
    • Lost or stolen devices locked or wiped remotely

HOW WE DELIVER

A staged plan. No surprises.

  1. 01Assess: What you have and where the gaps are

We take stock of the devices in use, how they are currently managed and protected, what the business needs to be able to prove, and which platforms the service must cover.

  2. 02Enrol: Devices into management

Devices are enrolled in stages rather than all at once, with a standard build agreed for each platform. People keep working while their machines come into management.

  3. 03Protect: Policies, patching and protection

Update schedules, encryption, screen lock, protection software and filtering are applied as agreed policy, and we check that every device is reporting rather than assuming it is.

  4. 04Run: The ongoing service

Patching and alerts are handled, new joiners and leavers are processed, device requests come through the service desk, and you get reporting on what is covered, what is missing and what needs a decision.

WHY REDTREESUPPORT

Why RedTreeSupport for managed endpoints

  • One team for devices, identity and Microsoft 365, so a joiner or leaver is handled once rather than in three places.
  • Endpoint management with NinjaOne, service desk with ManageEngine, protection with Sophos or Microsoft Defender, and filtering with SafeDNS.
  • The same team that implements Intune and Zero Trust runs the service afterwards, so policies are understood, not inherited.
  • Our team works Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight) IST, which covers the business day in India, the Gulf, Europe, the UK and the US morning.

MANAGED ENDPOINTS FAQ

Common questions about Managed endpoint services.

Which devices can you manage?

Windows laptops and desktops, Macs, iOS and Android phones and tablets, and Windows or Linux servers. Mobile devices are managed through Microsoft Intune, so personal phones can be covered for work apps only if you prefer.

How is this different from your Intune and Zero Trust implementation?

The implementation is a project: it designs and rolls out the policies. The managed endpoint service is what happens afterwards, every day: enrolling new devices, patching, watching alerts, handling joiners and leavers and keeping the estate in the state the project set up.

How is it priced?

Pricing depends on how many devices are covered, which platforms, and whether protection and filtering licences come through us. We give a written scope and price after the assessment. Nothing is charged for devices that are not in the service.

We already use some of these tools. Can you take them over?

Usually yes. We assess what is already in place, tell you plainly what we would keep and what we would change and why, and take over what makes sense rather than insisting on a fresh start.

Can you support devices in other countries?

Yes. The service is delivered remotely, and we work with teams across India, the UK, Europe, the Gulf, Singapore, Australia and the US. On-site help is available in Bengaluru; elsewhere we coordinate with your local contact or supplier.

What can you see on an employee's device?

Management tools show device health, compliance, installed software and location data where that is enabled. They are not for reading personal content, and what is collected is agreed with you and should be set out in your own device policy.
