WORKING HOURS

Afternoons, plus overnight change windows

On the east coast we are available from 1:30 PM (2:30 PM during daylight saving) until the early morning, and in Perth from 11:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

HOW WE WORK WITH YOU

East-coast afternoons, overnight change windows

Our day starts at 1:30 PM in Sydney and Melbourne (2:30 PM during daylight saving) and 11:30 AM in Perth. East-coast clients typically use the afternoon for workshops and approvals; Perth clients share most of their working day with us.

The time difference is useful for change work. Policy enforcement, device updates and patching can run in your evening and overnight while our consultants monitor the rollout, so staff start the next morning on a finished change.

Security designs are mapped to the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight, a benchmark commonly referenced by Australian businesses, insurers and enterprise customers.

SECURITY & DATA

Mapped to the Essential Eight

We configure Microsoft 365, Intune and Defender to support Essential Eight strategies and help you document your maturity. We do not formally assess or certify maturity levels.

  • ACSC Essential Eight

Application control, patching applications and operating systems, Microsoft Office macro settings, user application hardening, restricted admin privileges, multifactor authentication and regular backups, using Microsoft tools where licensed.

  • Privacy Act 1988

Access controls, logging and data handling that support the Australian Privacy Principles and readiness for the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Where your data lives

Microsoft operates Australian Azure regions including Australia East (New South Wales) and Australia Southeast (Victoria), so workloads can stay onshore. We help you choose regions and document the design.

AUSTRALIA FAQ

Common questions from Australia.

What hours can Australian clients reach you?

Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM in Sydney and Melbourne (2:30 PM during daylight saving), 1:30 PM in Brisbane and 11:30 AM in Perth, with the team online until the early morning.

Can you get us to an Essential Eight maturity level?

We implement and document the Microsoft controls that support your target maturity level and show where gaps remain. A formal maturity assessment should be carried out independently.

What about issues early in our morning?

Our team is offline during the east-coast morning. Requests raised then are handled when we come online in your afternoon, so we agree with each client which systems need morning cover and plan monitoring around it.

Can our data stay in Australia?

Azure workloads can run in Australian regions such as Australia East and Australia Southeast, and Microsoft 365 offers Australian data residency for its core services. We confirm what applies to your licences during the assessment.
